Meet the Founder
Lisa Richardson, Chief Executive Officer (MS, LCDC III)
Lisa Richardson founded Beyond Healthcare in 2021. Through the trials of leading through a pandemic, she and other industry leaders started to dream about how they might best meet the needs of teens and families in crisis. Together, they created Beyond Healthcare, a treatment center where stigma can’t thrive, where community is key to healing, and where holistic health is not just a catchphrase.
Ms. Richardson serves as the Chief Executive Officer for Beyond Healthcare and is passionate about creating a culture of belonging and purpose where staff implement quality, value-based care, leading to positive long-term outcomes for each client. She believes in the power of humanity in healthcare and is on a mission to eliminate the stigma that prevents so many children and families from accessing care.
Lisa has over 15 years of experience as an executive in behavioral healthcare and has served in roles covering every level of care. She is passionate about raising up leaders in the behavioral healthcare field who are both competent and compassionate agents of change. As she leads Beyond Healthcare she hopes to be part of the solution to the mental health crisis for kids by developing programs where they can thrive, heal, and find belonging and purpose.
